The book, the book!

We've had a bunch of book-related questions lately, so I thought I'd answer them here...

1. Michelle asks: Is this book for 8th graders only?

No, although the story is about three 8th graders (me, Kate, Piper, and Bet), it's for girls who are interested in the PBBs (periods, bras, and boys).

2. Mia asks: How did you get The Pink Locker Society name?

If you read the book, you'll find out! There's a very unusual pink locker at our school, but that's all I'm going to tell you. You can start reading the book by clicking the READ THE BOOK button on the left.

3. Vivian asks: Can you tell me more about the book?

Here's the description on the back cover: Shhh! You are now a member of the Pink Locker Society. More details to come. Shhhhh!" Welcome to the Pink Locker Society. Membership is a high honor, but Jemma and her two best friends can't tell anyone about their secret office, the work they do, or how they always manage to skip study hall. Behind pink doors, the trio of teens has been asked to take on a mysterious mission at Margaret Simon Middle School. They're supposed to help other middle school girls by answering their questions about anything, especially the PBBs*. Can Jemma, Piper, and Kate think fast and think pink?

4. F.F. asks: Why isn't the book sold in the UK? I can buy it off Amazon.com, but my friends can't. I want them to read the book, but its not sold in local book shops like WHSmith & Water Stones.

We're so happy girls in the United Kingdom like the book! Unfortunately, you're right. You can't get it easily there now. In the United States, you might find the book at your local library, school library or through amazon.com. But you can always read the book online. See the READ THE BOOK button on the left

After you read the book, please tell us what you think. We love reviews (especially good ones!)

Think pink!
Jemma
