Are you a DARING girl?

I think being in the Pink Locker Society makes me a daring girl. It's not just that my job is sometimes exciting (sometimes hair-raising!). But when I'm helping girls with their problems, I'm doing something that's NOT boring. I'm diving into life and time just flies by.

Would you like to be more daring - to get knee-deep in something that you've never tried before? Well, there's a whole book of ideas called the Daring Book for Girls. We just happen to know one of the authors - Miriam Peskowitz - and she's willing to tell us more about these excellent ideas.

Which of these topics interests you most? Vote by commenting below!

1. How to put your hair up with a pencil
2. How to make good snowballs
3. How to care for your softball glove
4. How to tell a ghost story
5. How to wash a car
6. Planting a "three sisters" garden
7. How to whistle with two fingers
8. Top slumber party games

We'll see which one is most popular and ask Daring Author Miriam Peskowitz to tell us more about it in a future post.

Think pink (and be daring)!
Jemma

My friend has that book. We tried the Bloody Mary thing a few times and freaked out, so we vowed to do it on her 15th birthday (since I'm a few months older). I want to learn to do all those things!!

I was absolutely intrigued when I saw the palm reading page! My friends and I built a 'gypsy' fort and read palms and told peoples 'futures.' Super fun!

And of course, when I am sitting in the classroom, the pencil thing helps so much so that my hair is out of my face so I can focus on my work!
