For Crying Onions and anyone else who needs serious help

From time to time, we get comments from posters who are going through really tough times. So every once in a while, we republish the following info. We're happy to give support and friendly advice here, but some problems really need more help. We want you to take steps that can improve the situation. You'll have a better chance for doing that if you follow the suggestions below.

Most of the comments and the questions we get have to do with ordinary problems. But once in a while, we get a comment or a question that is more serious. If you feel you have a problem that's too big for you to handle, please ask a grownup for help.

Here are grownups you can turn to:

1. Your parents

2. Other relatives: A grandmother, aunt, uncle, and other members of your family can be good people to turn to.

3. A school counselor: They are trained to help kids and will probably have ideas for what steps you can take next.

4. A crisis hotline: A crisis hotline is a phone number you can call and talk with someone if you feel you are in a serious situation and you don't know what else to do. The people who answer the phone will try to get you help, if you need it.

Think pink!
Jemma

What I always do is find some time alone with my my mum or dad, or anyone else I'm close to, and explain my problem. Everyone should understand youre feeling down and comfort you. If its just one of those days when nothing goes the way you wanted it to go, just have a nice hot chocolate and a bath to wash away your worries. It will calm you down, like nothing ever happened. Think pink!

good post! i think often times teenagers, especially teenage girl, feel that it they more mature by trying to solve their own problem. to a certain extent, that is true, but most adult feel like it often time more mature to ask for help when have serious issue then to try to fix them on your own and mess up the whole situation.
however, i like pink locker because get anonymous from people about friends and stuff, because it often time hard ask your friend for help with friendship problem becuase give you neutral opinion since know people that talking about (for example, if your friend and you get into argument, you can't really ask a mutual friend for her opinion since she doesn't want to take sides)

Smile, eat something, have a relaxing bath, smile and think pink,(obviously this only works to a certain extent).

To FlawFree:

Pretty much no skin is flawless- everyone gets zits sometimes. To keep your acne under control, though, wash your face at least once a day and talk to a dermatologist if you can about skin creams you can use.

Hope I helped!

My face is pretty good. I washh my face twice a day. And when a pimple pops up i freeze it with ice for 3 minutes and it shrinks.

@Anonymous:
A LOT of people get tattoos in their lifetime, and it is nothing to stress about. There probably is no way to get your parents out of wanting a tattoo, but I reccommend that you don't get upset over it... My parents have tattoos too! And they end up looking pretty good... :)

hey, MaryAnne, about your question about Quin. I think that she seems like a pretty mean girl, and do your best to either avoid her, or be extra carefull around her. Jemma can probably give you a full, great answer, but for now, just avoid!! ;)
