KittenPawZz has a pinky problem

Sometimes you have a problem and you can't think of how to solve it. That's whats going on with KittenPawZz. Someone's bothering her on the bus, but she's not allowed to change seats. What should she do?

Hi Jemma!
I just broke my pinky finger so i have a splint. My friend Alyse (uh-LEE-ss) is who i sit next to on the bus for the rest of the school year. I am not allowed to change seats at all and i already asked my bus driver. Well, the doctor said i had to keep on my splint, because it could become infected (Who knows how!!). So, I told Alyse and she didn't care. Everyday I tell her not to take it off, but she does anyway! I try to pull away, but she is stronger than me. I am worried that she is going to get my pinky infected! I have my splint on for another 4 weeks! So, what do I do?
KittenPawZz

Grrr! It makes me angry when people are rude, especially when they go so far as to touch other people. Whoa - keep your hands to yourself! This girl needs to be told that what she's doing is NOT OK. Here's what I'd do:

1. Tell your mom or dad that this is happening.
2. Tell the principal, school counselor, or whoever is in charge of bad behavior at school.
3. Don't stop complaining until something changes. Either she will stop because she doesn't want to get in trouble and/or, your bus seat will get moved so she's not so close to you.

What else, Pink Locker girls? Has anyone ever bothered you on the bus?

Think pink!
Jemma

Okay, tell her that you don't want to be friends with someone who has no care for your wellbeing. Say that real friends would be helpful and supportive of your injury. If shes really your friend she will stop.

Tell her stop! It's really not nice. If she's a bully in school then try to hide your hand or 'put it away', maybe in your pocket or something. Of course, I agree with Jemma, tell someone. You should tell the school counselor, then maybe you'll get your seat changed but until then keep your hand away from her and...

Like Jemma said, you should not have to put up with this. It is rude and mean. Having an infected injury is no fun. So tell a trusted adult. If that doesn't make her stop then the next time she does it yell out "STOP IT. I DON'T WANT TO GET SICK" as loud as you can. That should do the trick, cause then you will catch people's attention adn she might get crushed under the pressure and stop it. I know that last one sounds a little harsh, but I only meant it for you to use as a last resort.

Yeah, just be blunt and say "STOP IT!!!!! I really don't want by finger to get infected. SO just STOP!"

You need to tell an adult your situation, like whoever is in charge of the bus seatings. They should understand that you do not want to get an infection and do something about it.
I AM SOOOOO SORRY ABOUT YOUR PINKY!!!!

@periodless,
I know how if feels to start your period. I had my first splash of blood *down there* about a year ago. The harderest thing was that I live with my dad and I just can't get myself to make him buy tampons and sanitary pads. So if you feel like you can't tell a parent I think it's fine, go to the store (preferable when it's almost empty) and buy the product. Rember you will never see these people ever again in your life.

My advice to KittenPawZz is ask a parent to drive you to school if the bus doesn't work for you. That's what I do,sometimes.

You need to tell an adult. I am guessing that your first period was not as obvious as mine.( Mine was pretty heavy so it was easy to tell) If you are confused, ask your mom about it and I am sure that she will help you. Usually at the beginning ur periods would be very light and some only last for like two days. Then again, you could be different like me, mine was like five days. Now they are like 7-8 days so do not be worried if each of ur periods are not the same, it could take about a year for that to happen. Since u will never know when to expect it, look for whatever happens to u before each of ur periods. I get cramps that morning but every girl is different so u can have something else. You'll just have to wait and see.
Good Luck!!!

Omg thats so not rite! Just try to tell someone older than u, or if u can, bring an adult on the bus so she cant do anything to u. Or just try to keep or finger away from her and try to tell her that ur finger may get infected if she keeps on doing tht. If she is ur real friend, then she should totally understand

Alyse is not a REAL friend if she does that. I agree with Jemma, you should talk to a parent or teacher to make her stop.

i would either:

1.give he a note asking her to stop, stating that state that their a real reason you wear the splint
2. tell a teacher and ask her to say that someone (not you) told her about happening and ask her to tell you to stop.
3. Just say straight out "i enjoy sitting bus with you, but until you can control you impulse to take off my splint, i afraid i have to sit somewhere else, maybe with (name of the boy she has a crush on or girl she doesn't like)

what i would do, KittypawZz, is tell your mom, dad, or legal gaurdian. Tell them you told her to stop and the busdriver will not move your seat. ask them to write a note to the busdriver. here is an example of a note:

Dear Ms./Mr. (insert name of bus driver),

My daughter (Insert your name) has been bothered by the girl she sits next to. She has asked the girl to stop multiple times and she has not. I would appreciate it if you could change her seat. Thank you.

Sencerely,

(Insert Mom/Dad/Legal gaurdian's name)

if your bud driver still doesnt switch it, tell your mom that and ask her to talk to the busdriver. when the busdriver picks you up, have you mom tell the driver. it'll be a little harder for them to say NO to her face! i hope i helped!

oh and ps: A note from a parent can get you out of (almost) anything. -Ned Bigbee

My 9 year old sister won't give me any privacy! She never knocks, tries to open the bathroom door when I'm doin my buisness (I ALWAYS lock the door!), walks in on me and my friends when we are talking, (You get the point right?) Anyway, I told my mom she said she would talk to her. After they talked, she didn't stop! I kept telling her to stop and i told my mom, but it happens over and over again! I can't take it!!! Please help me!!

Say this to her: "Please stop. My finger is really hurt. If you keep doing that, you will make it worse." If she doesn't stop, tell an adult.
Hope this works!

Tell you're bus driver exactly what is happening. Tell him that this regards you're health and that girl is hurting you're health.
