Where's my comment?
I see a few new girls on the blog and wanted to say WELCOME! And also let you know what the guidelines are for posting comments. If you haven't seen your comment published, it may be because I decided not to publish it.
Here are some of the reasons why:
The comment is mean or could possibly hurt someone else's feelings. I don't publish comments that begin with "Um." For instance, "Um most girls wear a bra by 6th grade." It just sounds rude, like saying "Duh."
The comment contains personal info, such as where you live or what school you go to. I like the idea some of the girls have about little get-to-know-you questionnaires - (Favorite color, thing your most proud of etc.) but I noticed that one of the ones that got started also asked which state a girl lived in and what religion she was - probably too personal. Send in the questions you'd like me to ask and I'll put a post together on that.
The comment is about the real identity of someone else who posts on the blog. Most girls use a screen name or Anonymous, so we don't post a comment that says: I have a friend who had that same thing happen to her. Pink Carnation, are you Katie Jones in real life?
The comment is about a health issue - like puberty - and tells the person that their problem is no big deal and there's no need to go to the doctor. We can talk about stuff in general, but we don't want to tell a person to ignore a problem. The best choice is to tell a parent, so they can help the girl figure out what to do.
The comment points girls to another website, especially personal blogs. We really don't want strangers to approach the girls on this site, especially because we talk about puberty etc. So, therefore we don't want to give out links that could get creepy people closer to contacting a girl directly. But for girls who like to express themselves creatively, we are planning a new section of the site for posting stories, essays, poems, and artwork.
Any questions, just ask!
Think pink!

thanks Jemma, If I do it sometimes I do wrong things without realizing so ahead of time I am saying sorry if I do anything wrong.
hi!
I wish PLS would just change our comments a little, like if we said something to personal, like where we live, they could just subtract that from out comment. And I think we should be able to say our religion, it we're proud of it! As long as it isn't critizizing other religions, why not??? I sometimes do really long posts, and it takes a long time for me to type it, and I put a lot of thought into the advice I give. And then, NONE of it shows up! That really frustrates me.
I think these are good guidelines to post a comment. I love how this site is private about information.
Kk thmx for the reminders jemma! In a comment I violated one rly sorry!!!! I don't see why saying our religion iS bad tho?? It's not like rude comments r posted on here anyway so no one can make fun of it. Oh well I'm sure u have ur reasons
Katelynla, IKR? That is so annoying! Sometimes it doesnt go against the guidelines at all! And when it does it would be nice if they could jus edit out the bad parts, but that would probably be a LOT of work.
so that's why you wouldn't let through my comment about the website the logos come from!
ps. I think we should be able to say our religion though if we want to.
I agree Katelynla!
ok jemma thanksfor telling us i'll try to remeber that so all of my comments can be publised :)
I agree with Katelyna and Sassy Cassie. I'm proud of my religion!
God bless you guys!!!
Hey girls, I am having a friendship issue and I need some help. So, I usually hang out with this group of girls. At recess today we were trying to think of a new game to play. Then, me and two other girls went to watch out friend chase a boy. (long story) So then everybody else got mad at us because they said that we weren't listening, and then we kinda split, but they were talking behind our backs. They were pointing at us and glaring at us. What really bugs me is that they said that we weren't listening, but they don't listen to me! We would do skits, I would watch them, but when it was my turn they would be talking about their next skit. Please Please PLEASE help me!!!
Is it ok to say what country your from ?¿¿.¿?¿?
So did I. I did the religion thing because I am a different religion and I was wondering if anyone else did the same one. The state thing was also me-hehe sorry about that. But I did say state/country so....
Exactly, thank you! Also thanks for standing up for the religion thing...that was me. See above for why(if it was published)
I'm pretty sure.
hey guys! hah umm i kinda have something i need help with...there's this guy that i'm basically with for a project for the rest of the year. and i literally mean until summer. i don't really know how to act around him because he's really quiet but super funny at random times. neither of us are really comfortable with each other, but this involves like us being with each other for up to like 6 hours a day at a time. any suggestions to break the ice with him?
Try to ignore them ignoring you, pay attention to their skit, and be as nice to them as possible. Be yourself and smile.
Act like he is already your friend, ask questions about what he likes and enjoys doing hobbies, the project etc.
Dear PLS,
I have a huge problem. My school just found out that there will be a spring dance. Again, we are going to have dates just like the halloween dance. And there will probably be a SLOW DANCE!
Last time, I didn't get a date last time, mostly because all the guys asked the cheerleaders. The thing is I really want a date. I went with my friends last time, and it was really fun, but I want a date
this time, but I doubt I will because nobody ever like-likes me and would ever ask me out.
So, PLS, do you have advice for how I can get a date this time? Sorry this was so long! Thanks!

I'm glad this site is being supervised! I love all the pink locker society girls here,Very trustworthy! I wish we could have like mini profiles, but you can only limit wat u say(no personal info,of coarse).just things like name(the name youre using now,no real names or last names) your favorite color, subject, animal and quote! :)
iNK, at least that explains why my replies didnt show up! Lol smiles!
Do you have a crush on anyone? You xoul always flirt with him and see if he'll ask you out, or take the initiative and ask yourself, if that seems daunting, suggest going as friends.Good-luck! Also, although you might think that no guy looks twice at you there is ALWAYS someone that likes you, hes probably just too shy to show it, lol. Smiles!
My name is Hugsandsmiles, my fav. Colour is pink/fuchsia, dark blue or purple, it varies, my fav. Subject is either, english, maths, lunch, gym, art, drama, I liked them all equally, fav. Animal is the dog and killer whale, my fav. Quote is either, be yourself, everyone else is already taken, or dont judge a man until youve walked two moons in his moccasins, or Always be yourself as the people who mind dont matter, and the ones that matter dont mind, its so hard to choose favourites! Smiles everyone!
@PurpleRose,
my school has the dances and you don't have to go with somebody just hangout with your friend beacause that is what i do
big boy problom
i REALLY REALLY REALLY like this guy and at first i thought he liked me to but since schhol got back in he seems to not like me anymore and here are the things happening
before:
1.we laughed and told eachother jokes
2.we stared at eachother nicely
3.we sat by eachother on the bus
but people said we had a "great couple look" and things got akward\
after:
1.we barleytalk
2.we sit far away
3.he still stares nicely
4.i still like him
This is like exactly what happens to me last year. Maybe u should sit by him or talk to him more so he remembers what is was like to like u. Hope it works out!=)
My name is watermelonpuppy, my favorite color is blue. My favorite subject is band, and I play piano and clarinet. My favorite animal is a dog, and my favorite quote is "dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole."
Keep the chain going!
Yuck, I have a 102.7 °F fever and I feel icky. I just hope it's not the flu. =( Anybody know something to cheer me up?

@watermelonpuppy, I hope you feel better soon! I wrote a long reply yesterday but my iGadget was being annoying and didnt let me publish it soooo, sleep lots, and drink water, or water with honey and lemon in it, or cammonmile tea, or hot chicken soup/broth?. For fn you could learn a new hairstyle, or bake or knit, depending on how you feel. You could also do the suggestions on this website that I'll post in a seperate comment in case it doesnt show up. Sending you healing Smiles from Miles away!
I tried to post a comment twice saying I wasn't sure what my religion is. Why is that bad?
Heeey gurlfrienzzzss.. So i just logged into this website todayy..Nd it isn't bad afterall!!! Haaahha I guess us gurlllzs are just becominggg ladies! cx ..lol.. bye Gurlzzss!
@watermelonpuppy...
I know how you feel. My class got infected with head lice and I got it. I've been looking at star trek blooper videos because I have nothing better to do.
God bless you guys!!!
Sometimes comments dont show up even if they are within the guidelines Smile!
Omg Watermelonpuppy i hope u feel better!!
it worked thank you guys he asked me out and we even kissed YAY!!!!!!!!!!!
Dear watermelonpuppy,
Hope you feel better! As for things to do, maybe you could:
-Read a good story (with a happy ending)
-Draw a picture
-Read jokes online (the ones that really crack me up are the list of things to do..'in a Walmart', 'in school', etc.. :D
-Read this website! :D
-Make something! Origami, bracelet, etc..
-Write a story! It can be utterly ridiculous,too--just have fun with it :)
-If you feel well enough to get up and about, then sometimes it feels good to just go outside for a few minutes and get some fresh air.
-eat peanut butter. It's the best. :3
Well, that's all I got for now. Hope you feel better!!!
Love,

Hey guys it's me agian i run track at my school and i wear a tee shirt bra (if you don't know what it is google it) and it hurts my boobs sooo bad and i wear a 36b and i asked my mom while my dad was around for a sports bra and my mom said yes and my dad said no so my mom said no too i really need a sports bra!!!!!!!!!!!!
sweetlittlerockstar157, Just sit your mom down and explain to her why you want a sports bra, then say 'Mom, if Dad says no please hold your ground because I really need a sports bra'. She'll probably understand and if your Dad tries to say no he'll probably back down once he sees Mama's on your side :)
Think lucsious, velvety, rich, dark purple!

Jemma, I have been trying to post a comment for almost a week, and I have tried over nine times! Its super serious, and I dont understand why youre not posting it. I tried not to make it inappriopriote or offensive and it seems to follow ALL the rules!! I rewrote it three times.
@sweetlittlerockstar, subtely jump and run around and look like your in pain, or explain to your dad that you REALLY need one, or tell your mum that it hurts really bad not to wear one and to stand up to your dad. Stay calm and smile!
Devoted Christian :) I love and believe in God. I put my faith and trust in him :) I have no problem with other religions! I do go to church every Sunday. I have a friend named Super Bunny and even though we are of different religions we get along just fine!!
Personally, I don't see how saying a religion is a bad thing. It's not like your giving your address, which is personal to you only, because (for example) if a person was Jewish, millions of other people worldwide are also Jewish. I think that saying a religion should be allowed on the Pink Locker Society.
hey that makes a lot of sense becuase sometimes i post hi and something else and they probly dont want people to think something bad
i think people should know things that could happen to girls when they are grown up
why everything happen to a girl why not a boyyyyyyyyyy
okay, so there's this girl at my school (lets just call her Tyler) and she used to be BFF's with this girl (let's call her Ally) . well suddenly, Tyler is hanging out with boys. ONLY boys, and she doesn't have a crush on one of them (trust me I know). she just likes acting like a boy. now Ally is upset.... what to do?

Hey Niya, if you want to be more flexible, it can't be rushed. Some yoga poses can help get your body used to it. But getting flexible can't happen over night. Most acrobats and contortionists are born double-jointed. There for you may need to take yoga and get help from someone flexible otherwise you might hurt yourself. For the yoga, try basic poses then work up the levels. Happy pretzeling!! :)

how would you tell your parents your having your peiriod
