Awesome!!! Loved the story and photo!!! 2nd comment??? I have a few questions and I need answers so PLEASE READ: 1.) I was wiping today and I saw something that looked like blood on the toilet paper. Is that my period? I've never had it yet, but I've been having discharge for a while and haven't had any symptoms of PMS. 2.) There are multiple parts to this question, but you DO NOT need to answer all of it unless you want to. I'm playing field hockey this fall for the first time, and I would like to know what kind of exercises I can do. I do not have a stick because the school provides them for us, so we don't need to get one. Do any of you do the sport or similar sports like ice, street, and floor hockey, soccer, or lacrosse? If so, please tell me how you practice for them!!! Even if you don't, I would love your opinion! And also, what position should I play in the sport? I love to play offense and I am okay at it, but I do not like to run much. I am better at defense, and I like that too, but I don't think it's as much fun. I would like to be goalie, but I get nervous easily when I am one (If you do not know the positions, please look them up for I don't really want to type the jobs). And help me to not be as nervous for practice, because I'm going to 7th grade and most of the girls there are in 8th! 3.) I have been thinking about raising money for endangered animals, (snow leopards, pandas, etc.) but I do not know where to start or how to get the money!!! Help please! THANK YOU FOR ALL THE GIRLS WHO ANSWERED AND I NEED AS MANY ANSWERS AS POSSIBLE!!!:) :) :) And an idea to JEMMA: When I try to post on my ipod, my comments never get sent in!!! There is no personal information, because even if I comment "Hi girls!" Or try to answer someones question or post mine it doesn't work!(I am on a computer right now.) It would be cool if there was a Pink Locker Society app for iPods, iPhones, Android devices, and tablets, so it would be easier to post. Thank you for reading!!! Sorry this may have been long but please answer my questions! Thank you! -PurpleRose
@purple rose 1. it may be the start of your period 3. I would recommend getting a business partner like your mom and see if you guys can work together to raise money - coolgabs1216 :)
Hey Giiirls!!! I havnt been on this blog in ages (I've been reeeeeally busy!!)but I have a question. Okay, so I started plucking my eyebrows when I was ten, mostly because I was convinced I was ugly (I was being bullied). Im much more confident with the way I look, and I also dont want to be 'fake' (like, I want someone to think im beautiful because he likes ME, not cuz I've altered my face :P)
So, basically, Im to grow them out.
My problem is that some of the hairs arent coming back in!!! One eyebrow is almost grown back (and btw I like it!) but the other one is hardly growing. Should I give it more time or should I just go back to plucking, because I cannot have completely lopsided eyebrows. Why hasnt it grown in? Will it ever? Please please please help! This is stressing me out and school starts in two weeks, so it better grow in fast!!!
@Purple Rose 1. That is more than likely your period especially since you've had your discharge for a while. Congrats! Tell your mom and to make sure it is your period and don't forget to wear pads. It might be awkward to talk to your mom about it but it's for the best. Tell yourself that u only have to be brave for a while and you'll never have to go through that experience again. If you aren't scared to talk to your mom about it, great! But most people r so it's ok. Good luck! :) 2. To practice for field hockey i really recommend u buy a stick and ball so u can practice at home. If u can't, the best thing to do is stay in shape until field hockey season starts. If u do, u should practice your skills and techniques in your backyard or in a big open space. Thing to practice are dribbles, scoops, flicks, chokes, strong pushes and anything u need to work on. It really depends on what your good at and your fitness level to determine what position u should play. If u don like to run than u should be goalie or defense. For goalie u really have to have quick reactions. Goalies r a good place to start but u really have to learn a lot and practice a lot. Defense is a safe position for u to play. I'm sure you'll like it if u choose that. Centre forward is usually for if u have good skills to get around people and a good shot. You do have to do a bit of running. In my opinion, mid field is a hard position to play because u do a lot of running and stuff. And whatever u choose, if you aren't good at it, u can always get better. :) Don't worry about the 8th grade girls. I'm going to 7th grade too and I'm on the dance team and most of the dance team was 8th graders. At first I was really scared and shy especially cuz they were better at dancing but after a week of practice, they were all my friends. Their age didn't matter. Good luck and don't forget to have fun! :) 3. That sounds like a great idea! You could start by having a bake sale or car wash or lemonade stand and donating your profits to an organization that saves endangered species. U can even do it with your friends. You could start a business for babysitting or lawn mowing or pet sitting. I think you are very generous to do this. I hope I helped and it all goes well for u! ~Bluetiful Blossom
I just got my period and my dad is taking me swimming. I have no idea what to do! I currently wear pads and I have no idea if I should go swimming or not.
Purple Rose: It is probably your period. Beautiful Blossom said everything I would have said... sorry, I cant answer 2 or 3, I don't have experience in them... for your most recent question, step 1: go to the pink artist's blog step 2: click on "share your work" step 3: click the words "submit a story"
There's this guy that I really like, but I'm not sure if he likes me. I met him at my new school, and we instantly became friends. He has dark gold slightly fluffy hair that he always talks about whenever I'm around. At dances, he almost always dances with me for like the really long dances. We hang out and our families have become friends so we've gone out to dinner with our families once or twice. He teases me a lot, but he always can tell when I'm having a bad day and will be there when I need him. He always ends up next to me and stuff. We both love the same type of music, cars, movies and etc. I also just got this prank call of a guy saying he loves me, and his best friend told me that it sounded like him. His older brother has recently started jokingly shipping us as a couple. The other guys in the group of kids that we hang out with have been kinda insinuating stuff if we're nearby each other. My crush and I are are going to be working together next year for this super huge project thing, but its just the two of us. One of the other guys said he was telling all of the guys that he was flirting with me. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I really want to know if he likes me, but I'll never be able to muster up the guts to ask him.
@Remakingbraverme I have hairy eyebrows so I pluck them too. I think u should do what u like and what u think is best. If u like the grown in one then let the other one grow in as well. If u can't stand uneven eyebrows and other people notice u for it, then pluck it until to your content. But remember do not over pluck. That will not be good. U could always get side swept bangs to hide your uneven eyebrow until it grows out. My opinion is to let it grow out since u like them and u still have 2 weeks till school. Eyebrow hairs do take a long time to grow back but I'm pretty sure it will grow back eventually! Good luck! :)
I scraped my ankle 2 days ago in dance and I put a bandaid on it and today I was trying to change the bandaid to a clean one and the problem is that the blood hardened to a scab and it's stuck to the white/middle part of my bandaid. I tried putting water on it and peeling it but then it started to bleed again. I'm worried it'll get infected or the bandaid will be stuck to it forever. My mom said I should soak it in alcohol and try peeling it or just cleaning it with alcohol. I'm scared that it will hurt. What do i do? :/
@Pinkie Pie Tell your mom and ask her what u should do. Maybe she'll let u wear a tampon but prob not since u just got your period. U could always make an excuse like u don't feel well or u don't want to go that day or maybe tomorrow. It really depends on how long your period lasts. If u r going swimming a few days later then I think it's okay to go since periods only last a few days. Good luck and congrats :)
@sunshineintherain I think that he probably likes u. When I'm in a situation like this, I usually ask the crushes friends if my crush likes me. But u can't always trust what they say cuz they might be making their own opinions. I think it would be cool if u called back that mystery caller and asked him who he is. Maybe it will be your crush! :) Maybe when u guys are alone, u could ask him if he likes u. I know it's super brave and I've done it before and sometimes u won't like his answer and sometimes you'll be so happy. If u want to get out of the friend zone u have to take a step. You could always txt him the question or call him or something. Good luck! :)
@Anonymous I know how u feel. In the beginning when I did dance competitions and gymnastics, my mom put my hair in a high pony tail and it hurt a ton. It feel like she was pulling my hair off my head. My only advice would be that if u get use to it, it won't hurt that much. I'm sure lots of girls and women think it hurts so you aren't the only one. Try not think about it and just think about happy things or play with your phone or eat ice cream or something. Don't worry, it'll get better. Good luck! :)

Dear Jemma I have a huge dilemma. OK so lately I have noticed double periods and I really want to talk to my mom about it so maybe I can go to a gynecologist but thee thought makes me shiver. I mean its super awkward and weird. Number two I'm sad because I have a crush that lives far away he came to visit Ga and I spent rest of summer hiding I dint get to say bye and our pastor I adore is moving. I want to talk to my mom too. But I just don't know how to bring it up. I love my mom and she can give really good advice but I am afraid of bringing up awkward subjects. PLEASE HELP. Oh yes Pink locker girls I need your help and advice too. What would you do if you were in my shoes?????
@ PurpleRoses- I did a bake sale to raise money for a charity that helped people who couldn't pay their bills. You could too! Or a lemonade stand! Or a garage sale! Or a raffle!
Anonymous I answered your question the day you posted it. I basically said everything jemma did in her answer that she just posted. I don't know why my answer didn't show up. I also answered Sophisticated Swiftie's question and AnnyaWillRockYourWorld's question in the same comment. again, I don't know why my post didn't show up. and to show you that I'm not just trying to take credit for something that I didn't do ( I did do it, but I know that you may doubt that), I will post this comment under anonymous.
Ahhh please help! Theres a guy in my class that really likes me but I dont like him. One of my guy friends wasnt thinking and told him to ask me out in like a month?! Pleaseeee help I have no idea how to make him not want to ask me. I dont want to reject him because I would feel bad and it would be embarrassing for both of us! And to make things worse i like his friend XO please help me.... anyone?
Becca198 just say that you don't like him like that or pass a note and keep it a scert about liking his friend im sure he will understand if you just say you want to be friends.
purplerose: it may be your period because periods are blood color and happens after your discharge. And for raising money for the endangered species, you could do a lemonade stand. Do you know what that is?
I am also raising money for charity, we are making cool things for people to buy and selling them on the street. Half the money we get goes to new supplies to make new items, the other half goes to a collection of charities. We are making a CD with music on it and are hoping that it will get people buying. Every week we have a new cause to help something and we Will make our products with a theme related to the cause and people can know about the different causes. We are in Australia so you can do something like this in America. Me and my friend are doing it and we are 9. Hope this helped you purplerose

I'm SO sorry for all of the questions, but how do I submit a story to the Pink Locker Artist Blog if I don't have an email?
Purple Rose, it is most likely your period. you will need a pad/tampon but this is probably useless because by now, it should be noticeable.
