Paris (and other dream vacations)!

Apologies - or should I say pardonnez-moi? - that I have not answered any questions in a while. Believe it or not, I am in Paris for a vacation. Have you ever been to France or do you dream of going? It is beyond, beyond, beyond how I imagined it. And I thought it was going to be spectacular.

I love art so it is heaven. But not all the art of Paris is on the walls of museums. The buildings are beautiful, the language is beautiful, and I love when a fashionable lady walks by, because then I can smell her perfume. Ooh la la.

I'll get to some questions when I return. And we will have a new story soon from one of our favorite friends and young authors, Posey. She is living in France for the year so she promises a French story. Until then, tell me what is your dream vacation?

Pensez rose! (Think pink!)

If you're stressed with homework, just set yourself up on your kitchen table, light some scented candles, listen to music, and get as much done as possible. When I was in sixth grade and still getting used to the change in homework, I used this method successfully. This will help you get your homework done faster, so you have time to rELAX! :) Also, try to do as much homework as you can in school, like at lunchtime while you eat. If you can't, at least set yourself up for doing it, so you're not desperate for a piece of lined paper when there is none at your house! Buena suerte!*

*good luck in espan~ol. Speaking of (and in... hee hee) Spanish, I've always wanted to go to a little town in Mexico and taste all the delicious food they have there. YUM! I love Mexican food.

Well, there's no place like home... but I would love to go to Hawaii; I've actually never been there.
So on of my best friends is in a reallly tough spot: her mom remarried, and her stepdad is really mean, her other dad keeps pressuring her about grades, her sibling is really annoying, and I could go on forever. But at school, she puts it all behind her, acts happy, then goes back home all depressed again, which I guess I understand. She says she sometimes wishes she were never born. I'm really worried about her. What do I do?

Put your pad in a disguise, like a makeup bag or my favorite, a empty icebreakers container. You could really put it in anything that it fits inside. This will make it so if it accidently falls out of your bag, people would just think you dropped a normal item. Or, you could just hide it in a pocket you never open...
P.S. I don't have lockers either. My school district doesn't get them 'til high school...

1. Don't run away. I'm sure people do notice you. if they don't, then try to share your opinions a bit more, but of course don't be rude. Also, running away wouldn't just separate you from your problems at school, but also from your family, your chances to get a good education leading to a good job, and you wouldn't have any way to get any sort of income, and you don't want to be one of those people on the side of the road, holding a cardboard sign and asking for money, do you?
2. I'm sorry, I'm horrible with boy stuff, but there are a lot of other answers on this topic in different posts. maybe you should check them out.
3. Wait for a time when your BFF is in one of her "good" moods, and explain to her how the way she's behaving is hurting you. Most importantly, you should realize that she's probably having a lot of changes happening to her right now, making her hormonal and moody. It's nothing against you, it's just that some girls get a lot more moody than others.

don't worry, I was in 4th grade too when I found this site, although I was an Anonymous for a while. About the inappropriate boy, i'm not completely sure what to do. You could try to tell them that you don't lie how they're behaving, but knowing boys, I don't think that would change anything. I would just try to ignore it, and if it still annoys you, go somewhere else or talk to a teacher.
hope I helped!

i have like a really huge boy problem and idk what to do with it at all.

so there are these 2 guys at my school that i hang out with all the time. they are best friends and stuff. i am tennis partners with one of them so we travel to tournaments and spend a ton of time together. i have a huge crush on him and stuff.

we always dance together at dances. we always sit next to each other. he takes care of me when i get sick and always listens to my problems. we argue like siblings but he always tries to make me laugh and he's also like one of my closest friends.

his best friend though, likes me and when my crush and i got voted cutest couple (we aren't dating or anything.) the best friend started bugging me and my crush about liking each other. he's making fun of me and stuff, and idk what to do! the best friend is convinced i like the crush, and he's trying to get me to tell him like if i actually do and idk what to do!? i don't wanna ruin my friendship with either but yeah....

a trick I do is to keep it in your lunch bag. Change during the beginning of lunch in the bathroom. Then, wrap it in toilet paper and when you go out, throw it in the bathroom garbage. Make sure your lunch bag has an extra zipper so that no one would see it if you open the bag.

Hey there girl! This site is for any age, dont be sorry that you're young! You're right, it has awesome info, that any girl could use.
Okay, these boys are just immature. At lunch or break, always be with a friend for support, and try to stay away as much as you can. If they are doing things that hurt your feelings or other peoples, tell a teacher or parent.
Remember that they are just silly boys, and you are much more mature and responsible than they are!
Good luck buttercup! Keep on thinkin' pink!

@ Anonymous who commented Nov 15 with three problems

For your first problem, I completely feel you. Its hard when you feel invisible, I know. But I know from experience, that there most definitely are people who love and care about you. Try talking to your mum, dad/ gardian about how you feel. It might not work, but sometimes it just needs to be brought tho their attention that you are feeling ignored. Maybe you could go grocery shopping with your mum one day, or help dad shovel the driveway. They will most definitely appreciate the help, and some one on one time will be nice!

Dear Jemma: Cool I love Paris! I've all ways wanted to go shop in one of those fancy stores to buy some nice dresses or some make up or perfume. My best friend says before she dies she wants to go to Paris and shop her heart out. My dream place I'd so love to go to is Queen land Australia and get to pet the crocodiles and eat snakes and maybe some iguana on the side and maybe some bird eating spider for dessert. And for breakfast some fish and some yams and some king brown snake for lunch. Wow a full enough meal for a croc! Did you know: That crocs can learn about the preys weaknesses and when is the right time to attack? Did you know: That mother crocs can hear her babies that are under twelve inches of sand calling her. And then Cary them in her mouth to be sent out in water? Thanks for the lift mum! Australian jokes: Person one: Did you pick your nose? Person two: No I had it ever since I was born. Laugh Out Loud!! See ya later mates! ( R.I.P Mr. Irwin )

Dear anonymous: Well in fourth grade I've had trouble with boys hanging around being plan annoying. In fourth grade you are old enough to speek up about it . Just tell them to back off and leave you alone and also tell a teacher or ask your parents to send a little note to the school board reporting the kind of acts the boys are pulling that are just disgusting or plain rude. You need to talk about it because the problem mite get worse . So before that happens you need to tell a grown up and they'll help you. I'm in sixth grade and its because of stuff like that happened in my school mom said that privet online schooling would be better and it is. You should just tell the boys to stop or they'll be in big trouble with the school because your parents sent a note saying the stuff the boys do that's buging you and others as well. But please observe what they are doing and ask your self is this a unnatural thing they are doing or are they just being boys. But my story this one boy wasn't just being a boy. He walked up to me and got a hold of my shoulder and pined me in between the crack of the locker that was next to mine and the wall. I just flung his hand off my shoulder and shouted DO NOT do that again! He was startled by my loud voice because the teachers came running to see what has happened and he took off running and far as I know he wasn't at school for the rest of the day. But no matter what grade nor how old you are always come to this web site and always have a voice and stand for what is right!

To anonymous who's new at this one I know running away sounds great but when you think about it causes a butt load of more problems so just hang in there if nobody listens then listen to yourself(you know keep a diary). Oh and ugh I don't even want to think about boys right now as you can tell I've had my share of mishaps. For your friend just tell her what's on your mind but if you think you can wait it through than do that to I put up with my friends because I know they put up with me. Well I hope I helped:)

Yeah, don't worry, we have our fair share of stereotypes here too. In case you're wondering, no, it does not snow all year round, though winter is a bit cold (eh?). And I can't speak for everyone but I haven't actually seen a real beaver before, nor do I play hockey. So... yeah. How many more Canadians are here? In the meantime,

I totally get that feeling too. School and (if u have them) extra curricular stuff can be really busy and sometimes it's hard to stay on top of things. My advice would be you could jot down a quick schedule for when u get home. Like 4:00-4:30 Take shower, 4:30-6:00 do homework, practice instrument (if u play one) or read until dinner, etc Your schedule is probably different but this is just an example. I don't know about u, but I used to procrastinate a lot which took up a lot of my free time. Some nights I stay up till 11 finishing up math homework because I came home late from my dance recital or whatever. Sometimes I feel like time is just running away. Good luck! :)

@Pink Golden Retriever Lover
Think about how you are spending your time. Are If you can cut down on how much you watch tv or computer, you'll be less rushed! Try waking up a little bit earlier to make your lunch or finsh up a bit of homework so you don't have to do it the night before.

@Anonymous who asked what a period was
A period is when blood comes out of you down there. It happens once a month for most girls. It is the lining from your womb coming out. When you have you period, you place a pad on your underwear to soak up the blood. Most girls get there period between 10 and 16. It usually comes two years after you get breast buds. I hope this answers your question!

I love, love, love Paris! When I went, I only remember the awesome things like the Eiffel Tower, museums, stores, and warm morning croissants!

I went to Paris before, I have a few friends there so I met them. Paris is really cool, but my dream vacation would be going to Japan for a student exchange program in High School. I find Japanese school life so fascinating, and the really cute uniforms are a plus <3
